Day 01
Madurai Arrival

Upon your arrival at Madurai Airport, a Satluj Travels representative will meet and assist you. You will then be transferred to your pre-booked hotel for check-in.

Day 02
Madurai – Local Sightseeing and Darshan

After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Madurai. Visit the world-famous Meenakshi Amman Temple (also known as Meenakshi-Sundareshwara Temple) – a historic Hindu temple located on the southern bank of the Vaigai River. This magnificent temple is dedicated to Goddess Meenakshi (a form of Parvati) and her consort Lord Sundareswarar (a form of Shiva).

Enjoy the light and sound show at Thirumanalaik Hall, which brings the temple's rich history and legends to life. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Madurai.

Day 03
Madurai to Rameshwaram

After an early breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Rameshwaram. Upon arrival, check into your hotel.

In the afternoon, proceed for sightseeing of Rameshwaram:

  • Agnitheertham – The sacred sea bath where pilgrims offer prayers to ancestors

  • Ramjharoka Temple

  • Ramanathaswamy Temple – One of the twelve Jyotirlingas and a sacred Char Dham site

  • Dhanushkodi – The ghost town at the tip of Pamban Island

  • Adam's Bridge (Ram Setu) – The chain of limestone shoals between India and Sri Lanka

Day 04
Rameshwaram to Kanyakumari

After an early breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Kanyakumari – the southernmost tip of mainland India. Upon arrival, check into your hotel.

In the afternoon, proceed for sightseeing of Kanyakumari:

  • Vivekananda Rock Memorial – Located on a small island off the coast

  • Suchindram Temple – Known for its musical pillars

  • Devi Kanyakumari Temple – Dedicated to the virgin goddess Kanyakumari

  • Gandhi Memorial – Where Mahatma Gandhi's ashes were kept before immersion

  • Triveni Sangam – The confluence of the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and Indian Ocean

Day 05
Kanyakumari to Kovalam

After breakfast, drive to your beach resort at Kovalam – the international beach destination of Kerala. Kovalam is famous for its shallow waters, perfect for swimming and various water sports activities.

After lunch, enjoy the beach until the sun sets over the Arabian Sea. Relax on the golden sands, take a dip in the gentle waves, or simply soak in the tropical paradise atmosphere. Overnight stay in Kovalam.

Day 06
Kovalam – Half Day City Tour to Trivandrum

Today after breakfast, you will have a half-day city tour to visit the iconic spots of the Old Travancore Kingdom's capital – Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram) .

Attractions covered:

  • Padmanabhaswamy Temple – One of the richest temples in the world

  • Napier Museum – Showcasing historic artifacts and bronze sculptures

  • Sri Chithira Art Gallery – Home to exquisite paintings

  • Trivandrum Zoo – One of the oldest zoos in India

  • Adjacent Palace – Part of the royal heritage

Day 07
Kovalam Departure

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Trivandrum Airport or Railway Station as per your itinerary.
