Day 01
Arrival in Barpeta – Gateway to Manas

Soon after your arrival at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi Airport (Guwahati) or the railway station, a Satluj Travels representative will greet you and warmly welcome you. You will then be transferred to Manas National Park via Barpeta.

Day 02
Tour to Manas National Park – Wildlife & Adventure

Safari in Manas National Park – Full Day Exploration

About Manas National Park

Manas National Park is located in the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas in the state of Assam. It is a:

  • UNESCO World Heritage Site (declared in 1985)

  • Project Tiger Reserve (declared in 1973)

  • Elephant Reserve

  • Biosphere Reserve

The park is named after the Manas River (a tributary of the Brahmaputra River), which flows through the heart of the sanctuary. The name “Manas” is derived from Goddess Manasa – the serpent goddess of Hindu mythology.

Park Area: Approximately 950 square kilometers (including core and buffer zones)

Altitude Range: 60 meters to 110 meters above sea level
