After breakfast at the hotel, drive 105 kilometers (approximately 2 to 2.5 hours) to Gangtok – the capital of the 22nd state of India, Sikkim. Gangtok is one of the most beautiful hill stations, offering diverse options for every traveler.

Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Then drive for a sightseeing tour including:

Morning breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir – approximately 40 kilometers and a 2-hour drive along the Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary (home to the red panda and blood pheasant, with rhododendron and other alpine trees lining the route).

Tsomgo Lake:

• Situated at an altitude of 3,753 meters (12,310 feet)

• Oval-shaped lake approximately 50 feet deep

• Generally covered in snow for most of the year

• Home to Brahmini ducks and many migratory birds

Baba Mandir:

• A sacred holy site located nearby

• Known to be a very sacred place for all visitors
