Day 01
Bhubaneswar to Puri via Konark

Upon your arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport, a Satluj Travels representative will pick you up. From there, proceed toward the famous Sun Temple at Konark – a magnificent 13th-century temple dedicated to Lord Surya (the Sun God). Also visit the nearby Chandrabhaga Beach, known for its serene beauty and religious significance.

Continue your journey to Puri, check into your hotel, and then proceed for a visit to the legendary Jagannath Temple. This 12th-century temple is famous for its annual Rath Yatra (Car Festival) and a series of other grand celebrations throughout the year.

In the evening, enjoy the Golden Beach of Puri – one of the largest and most beautiful beaches in the world. Overnight stay in Puri.

Day 02
Puri

After breakfast, proceed to:

  • Alarnath Temple – A sacred Vishnu temple

  • Baliharchandi – A scenic coastal temple

  • Satapada (Chilika Lake) – Located approximately 50 kilometers from Puri

Satapada is a town in Puri district. In Odia, "Sata" means "Seven" and "Pada" means "Village," so Satapada translates to "group of seven villages." Located at a distance of 50 kilometers from Puri, Satapada on Chilika Lake is home to the endangered Irrawaddy dolphin.

Chilika Lake is a virgin lagoon lake famous for its dolphin population and migrating birds. Enjoy boating through the lagoon and visit a virgin island called Rajhans.

After the excursion, return to Puri and proceed to the grand road called Bada-Danda for shopping and exploring local crafts. Overnight stay in Puri.

Day 03
Puri to Bhubaneswar

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Bhubaneswar (65 kilometers). En route, visit:

  • Pipli Village – Famous for its applique handicraft work, one of the most important cottage industries of Odisha

  • Dhauli Giri – The famous Japanese Peace Pagoda on the hill, along with the rock edicts of Emperor Ashoka the Great

  • Lingaraj Temple – One of the oldest and largest temples in Bhubaneswar

  • Mukteswar Temple – A stunning example of Kalingan architecture

  • Ram Mandir – A popular modern temple complex

Upon arrival in Bhubaneswar, check into your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Bhubaneswar.

Day 04
Bhubaneswar

After breakfast, proceed to:

  • Khandagiri Caves – Ancient rock-cut Jain caves

  • Udayagiri Jain Temple – Historic Jain pilgrimage site

  • ISKCON Temple – A beautiful modern temple dedicated to Lord Krishna

Then visit Nandankanan Sanctuary and Biological Park, established in 1979. This unique zoo offers its inhabitants a true feel of their natural habitats. Key attractions include:

  • Gharials (crocodiles)

  • White tigers

  • Lion safari

  • White tiger safari

Note: Nandankanan Sanctuary is CLOSED ON MONDAYS.

After the visit, return to your hotel. Overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.
